- RTF Output Upload to your Mac or Windows PC a Rich Text Formatted document (ie. text styles are preserved) from Notes or Works. Embedded sketches/ink text (NotePad) and images (NewtWorks) are supported. Compatible with MS Word or any word processor that can open a standard RTF file. Even transfers font name information if using the Font Pack supplied with WriteStuff.
- Grayscale Screen Shots Cature grayscale images of your eMate or MessagePad 2000 and upload as a PICT or BMP file. (No heap problems.)
- Server Mode Have the desktop application set to automatically receive multiple exports from your Newton device. Works in the background!
- File Naming The ability to name exported files from the Newton (less interaction with desktop). Especially useful in conjunction with server mode.
- Custom Field Ordering Create custom field configurations for import/export of Name data. Includes support for Folder name, Card type, special MoreInfo fields, multiple phone numbers and more.
- Graphic Download Transfer 16-shade grayscale or black/white BMP or PICT images down into your Newton device. Can be loaded into Works, PhotoShow or the NotePad. Includes an image preview package so you can see the image in the InBox.
- Support for International Characters Accented international characters can now be uploaded to your desktop from both a Macintosh AND Windows PC.
- Automatic Putaway You can define where specific types of data should be put away to automatically! For example, perhaps you want all text documents to go to Works or the NotePad, or perhaps you want all graphics to download to PhotoShow.
- Fast Package Download From a Windows PC, package download speed is GREATLY enhanced over the previous version, especially when installing to a PCMCIA memory card.
- Improved Package Upload Package uploading is enhanced through better performance (speed) especially with large packages.
- Increased "Mass Export" Functionality As well as exporting Notes, Names and Meetings by creation date, modification date, and/or folder, you can now also do the same with ToDo's and Calls.
- Enhanced Export File Support You can now export ToDo's, Dates, Calls as well as Names and Notes as a single file. These files can be created based on folder, modification date and more.
